Protect Childminding. Get the System Right.
Childminding Ireland recently addressed the Joint Oireachtas Committee for Children and Equality to raise serious concerns about new regulations that will become mandatory for all childminders, working in their own homes, from September 2027.

Childminding Ireland is calling for:
• A system-wide review
• Independent oversight
• Genuine input from childminders
• A pause in implementation
