The Childminding Development Grant is now closed for 2023.
The 2023 Childminding Development Grant was open from the 14th June and closed on the 14th July 2023.
Excerpt from 2023 Grant Information:
“The Grant aims to support the enhancement of quality and safety in the service through the purchase of toys, childcare equipment and safety equipment.
It is open to all childminders whether registered with Tusla or not, as well as those who are planning to start childminding in 2023.
For the first time, 75% of the grant will be paid in advance, to help childminders with the upfront costs of purchasing equipment”.
Please be aware it is our understanding that if the CMDG is oversubscribed, the available funding for this year of €250,000, will be divided equally between all the successful applicants i.e. if 500 childminders are successful, then the payment amount would be reduced to €500.
