The National Childminding Association of Ireland is a voluntary body committed to supporting and promoting high-quality standards in family-based care for children. The association aims to:

  • Support and inform all childminders and parents in the matter of family-based care for children
  • Maintain a code of ethics for family-based care for children
  • Encourage the recognition of childminding as a valuable care setting for children
