Síolta Events
Síolta is the National Quality Framework for the early childhood care and education sector in Ireland. Childminding Ireland has a dedicated Síolta Co-ordinator who is working with Childminders on the implementation of the quality framework. See the Síolta section for more information.
Cluster meetings have been established by Childminding Ireland in collaboration with CCCs and other VCO’s to explore Síolta standards in a user friendly way. They provide a locally based support network and advice as to how Síolta can be worked in your childcare setting. They are open to both Childminders and small services. Registered members of Childminding Ireland can attend for free. For small services or concessionary members of Childminding Ireland there is a charge of €10 (payable on booking).
