- 'This is not a new tax, Childminding Ireland
has always recommended that Childminders pay RSI
contributions to the state to entitle them to state
benefits and contibute to the Irish economy. The
only recent change is that it will now be collected
by the Revenue Commissioners as oppose to Dept of
Social portection (formerly the Dept of Social Welfare)
for a more efficient collection.'
